Borbaad (2025)
Arian Mirza (played by Shakib Khan) is a young, wealthy man from a powerful political family. Despite his privileged background, Arian is lost in life, struggling with drug addiction, emotional isolation, and a lack of purpose. His father, Adib Mirza (Misha Sawdagar), is a prominent politician and businessman who is both strict and emotionally distant, trying to control Arian’s life rather than understand him.
Arian’s world begins to change when he meets Neetu (Idhika Paul), a kind and strong-willed girl from a modest background. Her honesty, simplicity, and courage attract Arian, and for the first time, he finds something real to live for. He slowly starts to change himself — trying to quit drugs, gain self-respect, and win Neetu’s heart.
But their love story is not easy.
Neetu’s family disapproves of Arian’s past. Meanwhile, Arian’s transformation creates tension with his father, who sees Neetu as a threat to his control. At the same time, a dangerous enemy (played by Mamunur Rashid) from Adib Mirza’s political past resurfaces, targeting Arian to destroy the family.
As Arian fights for his love and identity, he is forced to make painful choices. He must overcome his inner demons, prove his worth to Neetu, and stand up against corruption, revenge, and family pressure.
In the end, Borbaad is a story of love, redemption, and fighting for a second chance at life.
